Those were some great stories (although they are starting to blend together). My favorite is his first, A Time to Kill. He's put out a number books since then, so I need to have another Grisham session.

I've never heard of Robin Cook. The problem is I devour them so quickly that I tend to go on short spurts every 6 months or so.

4 have been by the same author (Raymond E Feist) and the other two are "The Pelican Brief" and "The Runaway Jury".

Please do post a recommendation list, it'd be intereting to see.DadGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02903420036046787585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21274051.post-88917886892264827112007-05-21T14:43:00.000-06:002007-05-21T14:43:00.000-06:00Yep, it's me, nice to see you again too! I always like to read a book after seeing a movie to see how it differs.

I have recently read Running with Scissors... completely twisted-- read it after I saw the movie. The book puts some great twists and turns which are absent from the movie. But anyone who has lived through that mess just CANNOT come out of it even semi-normal... I would venture to guess the guy is completely tweaked now.

Another book that I have read recently is Wicked... which was cool after I saw the Broadway musical. It was great, the political undercurrent was amazing!

I recently bought Son of a Witch, the sequel to Wicked... we'll see if it lives up to the first!Doctor Mom™https://www.blogger.com/profile/11173710188537005904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21274051.post-60933907144548902322007-05-17T16:10:00.000-06:002007-05-17T16:10:00.000-06:00Teri- I really enjoyed the Empire Falls miniseries...Teri- I really enjoyed the Empire Falls miniseries. A great autobiography/guide which explains King's background and his approach to writing. Good stuff for any aspiring writer (or King fan).

While I'm not usually a King reader, (he's a little too explicit in most of his books) I really enjoyed this one. (It does contain some language that may be objectionable) I enjoyed it so much that I picked up The Green Mile.Sushiboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04896496364940804764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21274051.post-20459232748663922362007-05-17T15:57:00.000-06:002007-05-17T15:57:00.000-06:00I'm an avid reader but I haven't been reading much...I'm an avid reader but I haven't been reading much lately.
