Tagged

kk well here goes.

Here’s how it works:

Link to the person that tagged you: Nobody

Post the rules on your blog.

Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog, tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I ride the bus pretty much everywhere I go. I started about a year ago.

2. One of my New Year resolutions is to learn Japanese. I started today. (not taking a class on it, ... yet)

3. School started today. I'm too old to be in school. I should have gotten my degree 6 years ago. Oh well.

4. I love, LOVE, birds, especially parrots. I got a Parrot for Christmas. (Thx Superwoman!) I can die happy now.

5. The other thing I need to do before I die is write a novel. It would be great to be published, but I don't know if I have the talent. I have an idea for a book kicking around. I need to stop being a wuss and start writing.

6. I used to hate macs. I got a job, where I program an application for the mac, four years ago. Now I don't care for PC's

7. I live in Utah. I like living near/in the mountains. I don't like big cities.

Ok now I need to tag 7 people.

1. Zed
2. Scarlet
3. Just Dave
4. Angry
5. Special K
6. Sans Pantaloons
7. Dadguy

I'm sorry for any tagging pain that may have been afflicted upon the above bloggers. If your feeling bitter, please feel free to blame Nobody. It's his fault.

SpiTunes

On iTunes you can make your own mix and share it with other users. I've enjoyed browsing through other users' lists, and finally decided to share one of my own.

I call it SpiTunes (lame pun sorry) its mostly electronic (i.e. techno) movie themes. (Like Bourne or James Bond themes). My favorite song on the list (and actually what inspired me to compile the mix) isn't from a movie at all. It is the 2nd song If I Survive by Hybrid.

Just thought I would share it. Happy New Year! Drive Safe!

Happy Holidays

Superwoman and I celebrate Christmas. Merry Christmas!

In Japan the most celebrated day is New Years Day! Happy New Years!

Happy Hanukkah, The festival of lights! Throw on the Hanukkah song by Adam Sandler or read about the start of the festival in the apocrypha. (1st Maccabees)

Happy Kwanzaa, an emerging celebration of African American heritage.

Happy Solstice/Yule/etc.. High and low points of the sun are celebration days for many eastern religions Shinto, Hinduism etc.. in the west the Pagans celebrate the solstice as well.

Festivus, the festivus for the rest of us. If you don't fall in to any of the above, Happy Festivus to you!

Since school ended I've been having a great time. Sleeping 8 hours a night. Playing World of Warcraft, sledding with the kids and enjoying my new camera that Superwoman and my sister and brother in law gave to me. (My sister was the mastermind behind this gift, I love it, pictures coming later)

Happy Holidays, Hope your holiday and New Year are safe and enjoyable.

Finals

I finished my finals today, and I'm just trying to unwind after a few months of hardcore studying. Right now the snow is really coming down, it should make for a picturesque evening as the Sushiboy family heads to the city to see the Christmas lights. Its our yearly tradition to ride the light rail up to down town Salt Lake City and see the lights, I can't wait!

I'm now free from school for a little over 2 weeks. It feels great.

Hooray!

It may be Monday, but is also the last week of classes! I just have this week (and finals next week) to make it through and all I'll have to do is my 40 hour a week job, till early January. 1 Semester down 8 to go :)

Next semester should be a bit easier on me. I have classes in the mornings instead of the middle of the day. So I don't have to go to work and then school then back to work and home. It should save me around 2 hours a week.

It snowed pretty hard here on Saturday (here and the rest of the nation) it's beautiful even though it's frigid. I forgot to take down the trampoline, so by the time I got to it on Saturday it probably already had a couple hundred pounds of snow on it. I cleared off as much as I could then disassembled it. It was a pain, my back still hurts. (I had to take off the springs which was hard because the snow added more weight to the mat, which added more tension to the springs, which then took much more effort to stretch enough to unhook) But I had sushi Saturday night, so that made everything all better. Superwoman and I also took the kids to the Festival of Lights. (A local park that has been decked out in festive lights) We also went sledding on the hill behind our carport. It was a busy day and I didn't get much homework done, but I had a lot of fun with the Sushiboy family. I don't get to see them a lot between work and school, I really crave Saturdays where I get to do so many things with them.

How was your weekend?
