Hooray!

It may be Monday, but is also the last week of classes! I just have this week (and finals next week) to make it through and all I'll have to do is my 40 hour a week job, till early January. 1 Semester down 8 to go :)

Next semester should be a bit easier on me. I have classes in the mornings instead of the middle of the day. So I don't have to go to work and then school then back to work and home. It should save me around 2 hours a week.

It snowed pretty hard here on Saturday (here and the rest of the nation) it's beautiful even though it's frigid. I forgot to take down the trampoline, so by the time I got to it on Saturday it probably already had a couple hundred pounds of snow on it. I cleared off as much as I could then disassembled it. It was a pain, my back still hurts. (I had to take off the springs which was hard because the snow added more weight to the mat, which added more tension to the springs, which then took much more effort to stretch enough to unhook) But I had sushi Saturday night, so that made everything all better. Superwoman and I also took the kids to the Festival of Lights. (A local park that has been decked out in festive lights) We also went sledding on the hill behind our carport. It was a busy day and I didn't get much homework done, but I had a lot of fun with the Sushiboy family. I don't get to see them a lot between work and school, I really crave Saturdays where I get to do so many things with them.

How was your weekend?

I haven't been sledding in YEARS...sounds like too much fun! We just got rain on Saturday, which is always fun when it freezes; but it wasn't much, so not too bad.

My last weekend with Brady, so it was good. ;-) He heads home this coming Friday...

School's out! Yeah!

Enjoy your time off because January's only a few weeks away. Sounds like you're enjoying your new place!

I've been thinking about going back to school to get a BSEE degree. Or maybe just Engineering Technology, that would be a bit easier, and the local university offers that (but not BSEE). I figure it would take me about six years unless a lot of my credits transfer over, and I doubt they would.

and this is why i live in arizona ... after growing on up on the east coast and then living in the midwest for 6 months during the winter, i can honestly say i don't miss the snow. it's nice to be able to leave phoenix at about 60 degress and go to flagstaff, take the kiddos sledding, then drive back again!!

Tug - I'm glad to hear that Brady will be coming home.

Zed - January? Isn't that 2008? I'll worry about that next year.

Nobody - I was into my Junior level classes at my previous institution. Considering some things didn't transfer and I'm entering a slightly different major, I had 49 credit hours to complete to earn a degree. At 6 credits a semester and 3 semesters a year, that is 3 years. Ouch. Oh well, one down.

TG - I like the snow. The cold gray rain? Not so much. Congrats on your upcoming graduation. Right now graduate school seems so far off I don't even want to think about it. I am just trying to earn good grades, so that Grad school is still an option should I live through my Bachelors. :)
