Well I did indeed skip the midnight release of the World of Warcraft Expansion. I chose instead to get 3 hours of studying in and a square 8 hours of sleep.
Did anyone go get their expansion and hop on last night? How was the lag? I can't wait to get my copy (already paid for, just waiting at the store) tomorrow.

I didn't have lag. But that was last night/this morning. I did the same thing last expansion, and lag was only in effect the night of release. So, results may vary for tonight. :)
It wasn't bad at all last night.
~800 people in the queue on the server this evening though.
ouch, my cousin was saying the other server I play on had a queue of 500 tonight. :P reminds me of the bad old days.
There's way too much blue on that map. It looks hella cold. Reminds me of Michigan.
