I'm Back!

I'm back, and so are the METS!
Its been a great couple of seasons to be a Mets fan.

Most notably the Mets opened the season by sweeping the Cardinals (who knocked us out of the playoffs last year). Not only did the Mets sweep the series they outscored the Cards 20 to 2. Woohoo! Now the Mets just need to do that in the playoffs.

Currently the Mets are leading the NL East with a record of 12-6 and have have 6 (yes SIX) batters hitting over .300. Of those 6, 4 have played in 17 or more of the 18 games. The Mets are on fire. If they keep this up, maybe the Mets and (Dr. Moms) Twins can face off in the World Series. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Do you like Baseball? If so, which team is your favorite?

But Welcome BACK!

Good to see that you are back!

I'm not an avid fan, but I do enjoy watching the Twins when they are on. MLB doesn't want me to watch them and blacks out most of the games, so I rarely get to watch them.

Now THAT would be a game of a lifetime!

Twins & Mets! I'm so there!

Where is the series this year, anyone know?

Also-- you forgot to leave a caption for last week's Wordless Wednesday so now it's Scarlet, Scarlet, and oh yeah, Scarlet competing against himself!

Missed you!
Hope all is well with the fam!

Nobody & Sushi if they win-- you can come to my house and watch the game!

We'll have lemonade and pretend it's Mike's Hard Lemonade!

We'll have turkey dogs (and pretend they're skin on juicy Johnsonville Brats)

Of course there's beans, chips, and a great big pan of double-fudge brownies.... YEE HA!!

Can't wait, Sushi's cooking!

Dr. Mom - The world series will be at two fields. The field of each team that made it to the World Series. Home field advantage will go to the winner of the All-Star Game. (the AL or NL team)

Nobody - I'll bring some brats too. There will be plenty to go around (don't worry Dr. Mom I'll still grill up the Turkey Franks). Also in my neck of the woods its hard to catch a Mets game. I usually have to catch them playing Atlana (on TBS) or the Rockies or Diamondbacks (for the local FSN affiliates).

Everyone else, thx for coming by!
