From a culinary standpoint, I love summer, especially late summer when the gardens come on. Tonight we had great beafsteak tomato, perfect for a BLT. We didn't have any lettuce, but the bacon and tomato sandwiches were divine. I love summer food. If I could just get rid of my stinkin' allergies it would be my favorite season.

Here here. We could solve all of the worlds ills, if the world leaders would sit around and endless plate of bacon. Of course Islam and Judaism prohibit pork, which means they would boycott. That must explain why there is so much trouble in that part of the world.

Who needs the lettuce? It just gets in the way! :) Sounds great!
I love BLT's... but why do you make it with one great big slice of tomato?
It just looks funny!
Cause I was using a Beef-Steak Tomato, a really large variety that is ideal for BLT's
